Beach Break – main point (Beginner)Â
Ideal for beginners, with soft and forgiving beach break waves, perfect for learning and practicing. W15 is just a few 100m next to main spot, and is a good spot for soft green waves and learning how to ride them.

A great spot for beginners with a mellow beach break, while the reef break offers more challenging waves for experienced surfers.

Reef Break (Advanced beginner / Intermediate)
Known for its fun and mellow reef break, ideal for intermediate surfers. It offers easy take-off and long lefts and rights. Although there is on most days no clear channel, the waves are often mellow enough for you to paddle back without much issueÂ

Reef Break (Intermediate/Advanced).
A challenging reef break perfect for surfers with intermediate to advanced skills. That offers multiple A-frame peak sections with both lefts and rights. Sticks is perfect for longboarders and all levels of surfers on smaller days.

Reef Break (Intermediate)
Offers a reliable reef break suitable for intermediate surfers, providing a bit more power in the waves. It’s better to surf here during a higher tide to avoid touching the rocks.

AnimalsÂ
Reef Break (Advanced).
A more advanced spot offering powerful and challenging reef breaks for experienced surfers. Animals is one of the lesser frequented surf spots in Ahangama, for good reason: the spot is pretty far out, can be quite unpredictable and in bigger swells get quite heavy.Â

Known for its long right-hand longboard waves, great for intermediate to advanced surfers

Lazy Left Midigama
Reef Break (Intermediate/Advanced).
This spot provides long left-hand waves for intermediate to advanced surfers looking for a bit more challenge.

Fishermans ReefÂ
Reef Break (Intermediate/Advanced).
A popular reef break offering powerful waves, perfect for intermediate to advanced surfers looking for a challenge. Keep in mind that there are no Surf-rentals close and the paddle out is quite far, so most people take a fisherman’s boat to be driven out and back to the beach for 1.000 rupiees.
